A 58 years old lady ,named NNP  with DM  since last  --6-7 years on ayurvedic medication arrived in a clinic on Date17-12-2013

C/O weakness, shortness of breath with staircase climbing,pedal edema with frequent stomatitis at it is since last 2 months.

Stool Regular,Urine-concentrated and dark yellow with occasional burning micturation.

Lab Reports- BSL- F- 202 , PP- 251 . On 13-12 -2013

Treatment- Gomutra haritaki- 1 BD Vagbhat Pharmacy.

Gokshuradi Guggul 2 TDS Aushadhi Bhavan ,Nashik.

Lab Reports - BSL F-114 & PP- 130 (on 4-1-2014) , Pedal edema absent.,breathlessness - Reduced.

Patient got symptomatic relief. The treatment asked to continue for another 1 month period and asked for follow up again after 1 month.

Conclusion – 1) Tab  Gomutra Haritaki & Gokshuradi Guggul can be tried for Congestive type of Pathology like in Obese person with DM Type 2 or only obesity or in CCF

2) Patient above 50 years with Paedal Oedema & Dyspnoea on Exertion should be asked for 2D Echo ( to R/O CCF) & Haemogram (To R/O Anaemia)
